Happiest color in the world.

Ravishing Coral. This is the happiest color in the world! It was the color of the girls’ room in our old house, and it is the color of their room again in our forever home. The color feels like a warm and comforting hug and it just makes me think of my babies.

Below: Let’s remember the girls’ room upon purchase. For a more in depth look at the transformation of this room please read these previous posts: Our Precious Girls and Upstairs Progress, and Cabinetry.

Below: Still just after purchase. The closet in the corner was also hiding the headroom for the staircase below. We removed the closet, but could not remove the much needed headroom for the staircase, so we built a bed/reading nook over the headroom area.

Below: Closet removed to reveal the awkward cut out for staircase headroom below.

Below: Here we have skipped a bit ahead in time to last week. Trim work and built ins painted. A gloriously sunny and light filled room before painting the walls, but certainly lacking the warmth and character we want for the girls. Our girls bring so much delightful happiness and joyful love into our hearts, they need a room that matches their cheerful spirits.

Without further ado, here is the girls’ room, painted the happiest color in the world!

Love and hugs,
