Our laundry room began as a bedroom with a fallen in chimney. It is now a buoyantly joyful spot in the home; perfectly functional for the daily task of laundry and ironing, but also delightfully inspiring for painting and creating. Please see this previous post for a more in depth look at the laundry room… Continue reading Laundry/Craft/Creative Room.
Our vent hood was one of the most difficult features of the home to get just right. Our inspiration originated in our favorite restaurant in our favorite city: Canlis. Warm, inviting, and aglow with light! Looking from the garage on into the mudroom. Looking from the mudroom back towards the garage. Love and hugs, Suzie

It was a small area in the breakfast room, situated between the kitchen and the dining room, more akin to a small butlers pantry than an actual bar. We enjoy our evening cocktails and we love entertaining, so a proper bar… Continue reading The Bar.
